In the time Youdan have been delivering 1-2-1 coaching several players have progressed to a higher level. Some young players have developed their skills and confidence to become standout performers in their grassroots teams and progressed to play in the JPL. For others it's simply about gaining confidence and being able to make the most of playing with their friends at school.
But we’ve also been lucky enough to see several develop into players that are sought after by professional academies, going on to trial to gain valuable experience and eventually sign for academies including Sheffield United, Leeds United, Mansfield Town, Doncaster Rovers, Barnsley and Rotherham United.

Will’s Hard Work Rewarded with Rotherham United Academy Signing
Will has already proven that dedication, perseverance and a strong work ethic can lead to incredible opportunities. Having trained in Youdan’s 1-2-1 coaching sessions since the very beginning, he has shown unwavering commitment to improving his game.
All of this hard work has paid off, he was invited to train at Leeds United’s academy at the start of the season and was then asked to go on trial at Rotherham United more recently. We were all delighted when Will received the fantastic news that Rotherham United would like to sign him following a successful trial period. The club recognised that he “approaches every session with determination and his commitment to training stands out,” which are qualities that will serve him well as he embarks on this exciting new chapter.
Their additional feedback also praised Will’s ability to make critical saves under pressure and both his quick reflexes and bravery in 1 v 1 situations, all of which are skills he has developed in 1-2-1 sessions.
Will’s journey is a testament to the power of commitment and perseverance. His development has been a pleasure to witness, and we’re in no doubt that he will continue to progress and excel at Rotherham United
